I'm 13 years old... and I want to tell you about my first lomo experience.
Four years ago, my aunt got her first lomo camera, this was a Colorsplash Camera. Since this moment I´m very curious about those little stuff.
When I knew about Lomography I only used digital cameras. So I was very surprised that this one uses film. A little strange thing for a digital daughter.
I saw how these cameras made better photographs than digital cameras. And I started to love them.
This year, my aunt bought a Fisheye Camera for me for my birthday, but I´m waiting for it now. So my aunt asked me if I want to use her Actionsampler, for practice.
To use the Actionsampler, was amazing. It was a great experience and the photographs are not too bad for being the first ones in my life. I loved “don´t think, just shot” in the downtown. The people look at me with my little plastic “toy”. My first film was finished in two days.
I know my friends don´t know about these film cameras. But I´ll try to keep the film magic for a long time.
Maybe I´m one of the younger Lomographers. And now I only want to learn and learn more about Lomo and the analogue love…..
