Local Natives is a band based in Los Angeles, California. Because they live together, collaborations are easy – from conceptualizing artwork to making music. While they’re described as an “afropop-influenced guitars with hyperactive drumming and hooky three-part harmonies”, don’t be put off with the baffling genre; they spend time perfecting their harmonies and prefer to be called a vocal group.
Check out one of their songs – “Wide Eyes” – from their 2009 album, Gorilla Manor (which happens to be the name of the house they’re staying in while creating the album)!
