Of course there’s Yoko Ono and John Lennon whose photos by Annie Leibovitz stirred the world. But aside from them, Beatle wife Linda McCartney will have her posthumous photo book published on June to reveal intimate moments caught on film with Bob Dylan, The Who, The Doors, Janis Joplin, and other legends.
Capturing the vibe of the swinging sixties, Linda met Paul during the launch of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. They were married for three decades. In these years, she dedicated her life to animal rights, vegetarianism, and photography.
If it wasn’t enough that she married rock ‘n’ roll legend Paul, she was also able to take photos of genre giants Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder in a studio session.
Come on, she might have lived only until 56 years old, but she lived and arrested moments that are worth a bazillion years. The photos were selected from over 200,000 images and surely, they’re bound to multiply analogue love a million fold.
Oh, and did I mention, Annie Leibovitz is also one of the contributing authors? Enough said.
