It took us 8 years to become a couple. We are having the time of our lives.
It was almost 12 years ago. We met through a mutual friend. I fell in love. But I thought, there’s no way it’s going to happen. We became very good friends and after a while we were seeing each other almost every day. We worked together, we ate together. After about 8 years of knowing each other, one day, we became lovers. Just like that. There are different theories about the reasons this happened. In any case, it was time. We both agreed that this is the way it had to be. We needed those 8 years to learn, evolve and deal with things that needed to be dealt with so that we can make it work. This beautiful thing that we have.
She is the most elegant creature I know. This portrait is not typical, and maybe that is why I like it – because it is still very much her. My love.
