I’ve friends surrounding me, with their cool gadgets, their DSLRs and 12 megapixels digital cameras. I used to look at them and think, yes one day I want to buy one of DSLR too! And I was so envious. But that was before I discovered Lomography.
It was just about 2 months ago when I discovered analogue photography with my own eyes (and heart). I’ve always wanted to capture moments that inspires me, to keep, and to share with family, friends and even random strangers.
I took a while to decide on buying a Diana F+ CMYK. And, I’ve not regretted this decision of making her my first toy camera even though the first time I shot with her, I wasn’t familiar with it and no amount of reading can prepare you for this. Lomo is an experiment, you have to do it yourself to find out!
Today, I’m the proud owner of a Diana F+, a Smena 8M, a Gakkenflex TLR and … I’m waiting for my Lubitel 166B and Smena Symbol to arrive in the post. I admit, 2 months was all it took for me to fall in love with Lomography, the whole experience and community. I love it. I love it all!
Now, whenever I hold my cameras in my hands, I feel so excited and I look forward to shooting with them every single day. I often wish to have unlimited resources so that I can get my hands on all that beautiful cameras, and lovely films to share with the world what the future is about.
The future is analogue. I know it! And, I LOVE IT!

@willyboy when I bought the Diana F+ I wasn't sure what to do with it... and when I finally brought it out, I was so sad cos the photos came out kinda crappy :( So I was wondering what to do at that point... Thank goodness my friends kept me going and I tried again and again and it paid off... hehe :D
