Zöe just had an amazing birthday this 2010 and you could really tell how successful it turned out and what a blast it was by taking a peek at her square shots!
A few months ago, our Lomo Amigo Christophe Dillinger had teamed up with us in pursuit of publishing Square Magazine’s new book and asked everyone in the Lomographic community to show one’s year in square. A kind of a competition that calls for images strictly taken with the format we’re all familiar with – the square, each attached with stories of the photographers has to tell.
And to complete the list of our winners it’s finally Zoe’s turn, who is somewhat jumping like a happy kid with her new Lomo camera, let’s take a look:
It all began in May 2010 where I was given a Diana F+ camera and a roll of Fujifilm 400 for my 24th Birthday. My first pictures were taken in the Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa where my boyfriend and I chased pigeons, got lucky with a piece of graffiti and knitted Stephen!
In June I went to a Monkey sanctuary where the best ‘ooh’ expression on a monkey was taken! On a boiling hot 28th June I travelled to Barry Island, where my boyfriend ate A LOT of ice cream. On the 1st of August I took myself and Diana F+ on a 4 hour train journey to Gateshead to see my best friend Marc, the angel of Gateshead ;-)
The last pictures I have taken this year are of my weekend in London, in September. I took Diana for a ride on the London Eye and learnt all about evolution at the Natural History Museum with Charles Darwin.
My year so far with Diana has been fantastic!
I only hope she can fit in my bag at the end of the year for when I go to Lapland!
