The second half of our banner year of 2010 sure showed no signs of slowing down! Here's a brief look back on the month of July and all of the most popular photos that we've been graced with during those 31 days!
The Dog days of July can never hamper the carefree spirit of a Lomographer! The sweltering heat of Summer is easily remedied by stripping off a few clothes, winding a fresh roll of film, and hitting the beach. The sun shining oh-so-bright also gives an ethereal glow to the skin that gives you perfect portraits!
The most popular photo for July was taken by fivedayforecast is one example of such a portrait. Featuring a shootout scene between him and a friend, the composition is simply perfect, not to mention the spot-on focus that certainly makes the subject pop right out all the more!
The photo was taken with his trusty Canon AE-1 SLR with cross-processed Fuji Sensia 400 film. Here are the other notable snapshots back in July!
