This little dog is always the subject of my photos. Yes it's true. When I have a new camera I go: "Hello, doooooggy" - snap. Or I want to finish the film. Or I started a new roll. Or he is being cute - any one of these situations always fit.
His name is Josh. He is an 1 1/2 year old kaninchen (means rabbit) dachshund, a real small dog and so lovely. His whole body wiggles if he is happy. He has seen all of my Lomographic arms. He silently and patiently endures my exercises and tests and inspires me.
We already had another dachshund before we got Josh. Her name was Jule. When our lady dachshund died at the age of 16 this January, she left a big hole in our hearts. Then Josh found his way to us. He was not a replacement in the strictest sense, but if you have a dog you will understand, we are nothing without a canine companion! Before Jule there was Pat, a dachshund-German shepherd crossbreed. She was my companion till my age of 12.
