LC-A Big Book Chapter 22: We Want More LOMO LC-A’s Temporary Discontinuation of Production

Sadly, despite combined efforts – the Lomographers were ready to raise the purchase price against the US Dollar – the new calculations were nonetheless disappointing. The Lomographers would be required to pay an unaffordable unit price to ensure that production even in minimum quantities would still be profitable for LOMO PLC.

The Lomographers would be required to pay an unaffordable unit price to ensure that production even in minimum quantities would still be profitable for LOMO PLC. In my studies at the University of Economics, Vienna, it was always the reverse” mumbled one of the Lomographers; his friend, also an Economy graduate, scratched his head and together with the others confronted the reality: the Lomographers were not able to raise this high price. Hence, the Lomographic Delegation left the Director General’s office feeling sad and puzzled.
