Fisheye Rumble in the Pond Chapter 38: The Lomographic Surprise

You can be enlightened too!

Clicking and holding the Fisheye 2’s shutter button can definitely yield glowing colors, bursting lights, and a divine ambiance. See, it has a “B” setting, which allows you to expose each shot for as long as you like. When placed on something nice and steady, the camera yields dreamy, sharp images with ambient light and radiating colors. When moved, you’ll capture streams of light and abstract results. An exposure time of 1 to 5 seconds is usually enough, although very dark environments may require an exposure time of up to 10 seconds or more.

Use it together with the internal flash for sharply flashed foregrounds and dreamy fuzzed backgrounds. Use both the external and internal flash for a first and second curtain flash feature.

“Rumble in the Pond” is a 368-page hardcover book bursting with 170-degree Fisheye madness. Inside your will find exclusive tips and tricks, Lomographer profiles & interviews, an informative history of Fisheye lenses and goldfish breeding, and several hundred eye-popping barrel-distorted fisheye images.
