Chapter 4 Lomo Kikuyu: Africa, Kenya, The Kikuyu Eye Unit

Between 34 and 42 degrees east, 5 degrees north and 5 degrees south (bang on the equator!) is where you will find Kenya.

In the middle, at 36 degrees and 50 minutes east and 1 degree and 18 seconds south, lies the capital Nairobi. And near to Nairobi lies Kikuyu, a small town where the Kikuyu Hospital is to be found, which in turn houses the Kikuyu Eye Unit. It is understandable if you cannot really picture this very well. In any case, it lies on the southern hemisphere, the continent is called Africa and our story takes place pretty much in the middle of this Africa, in, as previously mentioned, Kikuyu.

Lomo Kikuyu It’s good to see (again). Every Lomographer along with their friends and acquaintances worldwide is being appealed to donate 30 Euros/30 American dollars to save a person’s eyesight. Get the chance to do this by getting your own Lomo Kikuyu Book now.
