I really really like the rich rendering colors of this expired film called Clark Color Film, but I have a problem, I can not find it any more. I bought this film at a goodwill store, I bought all they had and asked if they had more. "Not that we know of " was their reply. I searched the film on the internet and was not able to locate it , but I did find the lab in U.S. Hampton Park MD. So I really want to talk about this and maybe you guys out there might find some of this rare film.
Clark Color Film is made in Italy and is processed here in in the united States, so says the box. I bought 7 rolls and have used 4 rolls already and really like this film, so I want to find some more. The film is so pretty and I am sure it has long been expired (from 2007). I think it was at the store for quite a while because the box was not recognized as 35mm film. The film is wrapped and boxed around the cassette and had no plastic bottle like typical 35mm films.
The deep Reds, blues, greens are totally saturated; this is a very nice trait for expired film. I shot this film in all kinds of extreme lighting situation. Low light, cloudy and shadowy, and fully shooting in the sun, and the film held up in all situations. The ASA 200 showed nice pretty grain and held deep colors in the slight out of focus shots. This is a great all around film with a full range of color saturation. Real pretty but hard to find.
