Lucky Super 200 (35mm, 100 iso) User-Review
written by adi_totp on August 20th, 2009 , 12 comments (6 votes)

After that conversation, I immediately walked down to the film shop to buy some rolls of Lucky Super 200 and rushed my steps to the film lab to have it spooled reversely or as they say – Redscale. Then after manually re-spooled the film, I loaded two rolls of of it, one in my Lomo LC-A+ RL and the other on my Horizon Perfekt.

Like an old friend, Lucky Super 200 seems to be up with anything I do and just deliberately allowed me to have a good time with it. In return, this film gave me some of the most stunning and amazing Lomographs! I just did what I always do with my cameras by shooting from the hip, shoot here and there, in upwards or down, the Lucky film can do it all!

I was so amazed by the results! I think this experiment is successful and I’m already planning to try other films to be reversed, but in the mean time I’m just enjoying my new found favorite film. It’s just awesome how a simple trick can do lots of magic and redness in your photos! I am indeed super lucky!

I've tried to load redscaled Fuji Sensia 200 into my LC-A+ and the camera could hardly pull the film. I guess I did something wrong. On the other hand, Lucky film is mechanically "softer". Had you tried another kinds of film in your LC-A+RL? Is the receiving spool there also plastic like mine? In short, any tips, please? Ah! ...and I _like_ your photos.
