This is a good, basic film that won’t break your budget. Like all other Konica films it was discontinued, but 10-packs can still be found quite cheap on eBay. The rolls of the 10-pack I happened into all expired in June 2001, and show a slight colour shift towards pink – now this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, if you work it to your advantage.

On a whim, I decided to cross process one of the rolls in e6, and that’s when the magic started happening. Pink, peach, purple and blue, it was all very exciting! I asked the lab to push the film 2 stops to increase contrast, which turned out to be perfect.
This may be the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship.
