Fuji Press (35mm, 800 iso) user-review
written by eyecon on March 7th, 2009 , 7 comments (7 votes)

The situation: I was searching for a film with which I could shoot a live gig from a good friends’ band.
The solution: 10 rolls of Fuji Press 800 for quite a good bargain in the Lomo Film Shop!

So, what should go wrong? I ordered the stuff and as always the parcel was delivered in no time. So, when the night comes I loaded the film into my Canon A1, put a 50mm 1.8 lens on and shoot the concert.

Since it was my first time shooting a concert, I was a bit nervous how it turns out but when I received the pics back from the lab, I was pretty happy with it…

This film is perfect for low light situations where you can´t use a flash or a tripod. And since it´s such a bargain, I will definetely order some more and keep shooting more shows with confidence!

Nice shots and the grain is actually pretty good for the lighting conditions. I just got some of this recently and can't wait to try it.

I really like the colors on these shots and the composition is very attractive =) Great job, eyecon!!
