Agfa RSX II (120, 200 iso) user-review

A film to make dreams from! This film pops the colours in an amazing way unlike the ones I’ve used before – it’s very hard to get hold of these days but still remains in the top five of my all time favourite film choices.

I randomly discovered this film in my local store in Newcastle UK – they had a ‘special’ out of date sale so I thought great let’s try it – grabbed 10 rolls and slammed it straight into my seagull. I love how it pops the colours no matter what camera I use with it – Diana, Seagull and more recently the Lubitel 166+.

The contrast is naturally high and the film does not need to be pushed – it just looks this way all by itself – which is how it should be :) It works well with reds I have found, it also produces a high yellow– here are a few samples from the cameras already mentioned .

See if you can maybe track some down for yourself to try out !
