When I was in my favourite lab in town waiting for my films to be processed, I saw this very familiar film brand on the shop’s display cabinet. Then I asked the shopkeeper. “hello, can I see those films there?”, “of course, you can..” she said. After a bit of conversation, I bought a couple of rolls for a cheap price because they are already a few months expired.
What I’ve got to say? this film is a real beauty especially when you’re using the Horizon. It’s so clear and sharp, this film yields some of the most gorgeous colours. Now, I know why it’s called Solid Gold because it just produces lovely solid cool images, it’s so shiny you thinks it’s gold! Since then, I often used this with my charming Horizon Perfekt and do some panoramic view of a building’s interior like supermarket or maybe outside of a flea market.
This film is so damn fine! but it’s difficult to find this film in Indonesia, well oh well I think I’ve got to hunt some more on the film shops here again for this. So if you want to taste the “solid gold” of this film and try this one and for sure, you’re going to love this!
