Fujifilm Fujichrome Velvia 100 ISO is 35mm slide film (E-6 process) it is a “bright-sun” film but it also provides great results when combined with a flash. The best things in this film is its color, saturation and contrast wich make it my every day film.
Fujichrome Velvia 100F (35mm) is actually my favorite slide film, when processed with E-6 it delivers great color fidelity and saturation but when cross-processed it reveals its full potential.
Every time I develop it, it always surprises me, especially when cross-processed; the greenish blue color shift always gives my photos that special twist.
It is a superb film when used in bright sun conditions but it is also very good at night if you combine it with a colorsplash flash. When shooting colorful subjects this film make those colors more vivid and it also provides great contrast, giving your photos that “dreamy” style we all love.
I achieve great results when I use it in sunny days at the beach, the combination between the blue skies and yellow sand always leaves me amazed, it is half way for a great photo.
I think this film is the perfect match for LCA, I have tried other slide films on my LCA and I also like the results, but until now, Velvia is my favorite film.
