Kodak Ektachrome – mmmm two tasty words. When I saw them the first time, thoughts rushed to my head about really high colour saturation, vivid tones and incredible nice results after cross processing. My first Kodak slide was: Kodak Ektachrome ELITE (35mm, 200 iso)…
When I first saw it I thought “Elite? What a hell? Never heard of that, but sounds good” and I bought huge quantity of it. This film is not produced anymore and what I have is already outdated in year 1997, so like all old outdated films it is a bit grainy, but I just love that.
If you’ll ever gone to try this film overexpose it a bit, give some more light then for a regular 200 film.
I prefer cross processing in fact I haven’t tried developing this film in E6. Why should I make it normal, when I can do it crazy way :). Results did not let me down. Soft colour saturation and a bit more then normal vivid tones – whic is the attribute of this film.
Just have a look at those Yellow autumn leafs and lush blue sky, hhhhrrrrrr I love that combination!
