Ektachrome E200 (120, 200 iso) user-review
written by azurblue on November 27th, 2008 (1 vote)

Ektachrome E200 is a slide film from Kodak which gives saturated colours, good highlights, shadow details, and nice skin tones.

You can push it one or two stops without having any problems, according to Kodak.Grain is noticeable, but not unpleasant.

It is also good to cross-process, you will obtain very luminous photos with beautiful blue tones. For example you can see the shots I’ve made in Helsinki on a fine day this summer. Gorgeous blue and very shiny yellow and powerfull red!

So in my opinion, this film really kills when cross-processed and when used with a Diana+ or Holga. Try it!

Strengths:

  • Sharp with brilliant colors
  • Can be scanned very well
  • Beautiful blue tones when cross-processed

Weakness:

  • It is a bit expensive
