Steady, all-around, pleasing grains and vibrant black and white film! Here’s one of my favorite black and white film aside from the Ilford family!
Last month, I was swapping films together with some of my Lomographer friends, and I humbly came across this film. I kindly swapped it with my stocks and the next day after, I loaded this in my Zorki 4K, redscaled. Now the trick here is that, the film has now had a lower ISO setting. Since it’s ISO400, I brought it down to ISO200 because I redscaled (or blackscaled?) the film. Off I shoot out the daytime with no limits!
After getting my film done in my favorite lab, I was completely awed by the shots this film took! Simple, clean, fine grains scattering a little bit here and there, and the soft tones of the skin - they are all awesome!
Since then, I love using this black and white film! Give it a try, and you’ll be completely rewarded by the shots this film will take!
