Lomography X-Pro (35mm, 100 iso) user-review
written by day3hugger on November 4th, 2008 , 3 comments (3 votes)

For those of us who love vibrant colors and lots of contrast, but have a little trouble cross processing film (because the lab won’t do it!), this is the perfect film.

The best time to shoot your Lomography x-pro slide is on a sunny beautiful day, but who said that 100 iso film should only be used during the day? Go out in a bright day and capture the lovely colors that the sun creates for you, or go out at night and discover exciting new colors in the darkness. At night the lovely streaks of light will have stronger colors and will dance freely on a dark background.

If you love radiant colors, but can’t indulge so much in the art of cross-processing, this film will be your best friend

Now, when you cross-process this baby in C-41 color negative chemistry the results will just blow your mind. Unbelievable vibrant colors, contrast, and saturation will just make you happy to be alive!
Use a Colorsplash or a Ring-flash to get even more fun, crazy results. Use this film with any Lomographic camera, but especially with the lively Fisheye or with an LC-A, and have fun shooting the world around you.

Remember: daytime is not the only time when you could have fun with your Lomo x-pro slide. Don’t be scared! Go out there and experiment. Dare to meet new colors that only come out at night, or just go play with the sun and shoot the day away.
