Easy and great: For someone like me who love to shoot on b/w film but don’t have any clue on DIY developing, this is THE choice.
With an extremely wide exposure latitude, and can be developed with C-41 (that means any minilab, favourite drugstore or supermarket can do it for an hour or less waiting time) the Ilford XP2 35 mm 400 ISO is a cheap, easy and great way to shoot pictures with that classy b/w qualities that Ilford films is famous for, you can also notice the film’s distinct characteristics on its warm shadows and deep blacks which are both evident on my photos.
When used with the LCA, this film is a sure shot on different light conditions from sunny days to heavy overcast. Give it a try and sure you will find a fantastic film partner for those days when you need to express beyond color but with a pratical development.
