A high professional slide film with very low grain, moderately enhanced colour saturation and warm colour balance. When X-processed it yields very nice results: deeper colours but not artificial.
This film features the latest advancements in Kodak’s Colour Amplifying Technology and Kodak T-Grain Emulsion to capture light more efficiently. Grain almost doesn’t exist, even when slightly pushed. The 100GX is very similar to the Ektachrome E100G but has warmer “colours”. ISO 100 makes this an ideal film for outdoor photography, especially on days with plentiful sunlight. It’s also a good one for portraits. Skin tones look soft and warm but still realistic.
When x-processed the 100GX is very special: it yields higher saturation and very deep colours but by-passes the typical X-pro look. Try this on sunny days: blues and greens are amazing. This is a really nice way to give your pictures a bit more colour without exaggeration.
