A colour negative film for high-colour applications. The Kodak Portra-Series was introduced in 1998 and was specially designed for low grain results and authentic colours in combination with well-balanced contrast.
Kodak Portra is used by professionals for advertisements as well as landscape- and architecture-photography. Kodak’s special T-grain technology keeps grain very low and makes this film ideal for scanning.
Because of its excellent skin-tones the Portra is also a very common portrait-film. VC means “vivid colours” which is the main characteristic feature of this high-performance pro film! Compared to the Portra NC (natural colours) the VC comes with a bit more contrast and a very subtle x-pro look.
