Those super-strong black and white tones that you love in APX 100, but with a speed boost to 400 for extra-dark or extra-fast subject. Woot, woot says I. The bigger grain is quite tasty too.

Even in the most ambient situations, this film is reliable and gives a remarkable performance on handling those homogeneous surfaces, extremely sharp outlines, flexible speed, contrast and exemplary grey balance. Enlargements are not a problem because it’s fine grain.

I have to say I like black and white films though not everyday but it is something special. The relatively high ASA of this Agfa film is preferably useful with multilens cameras like the Oktomat. Seeing minimovies in black and white is a little bit old fashioned and so extremely nice. It is a wonderful film to use it with Ringflash and LCA too. It is not too grainy and it makes good contrasts. I also used it with my Zenit ET and was excited about the results.
A big plus about this black and white film is that it doesn’t have to be that bright every time you’re shooting outdoors. It is okay whether it is a grey or cloudy day.

I recognize my pics of London, but they're taken with an APX 100 and not with a 400.....
