It has been a long time since I harassed all you Northern Lomo geeks for a meetup so I feel that now would be a suitable time to get on it. Let’s do Liverpool in February.

So, as I stated in my blog entry recently “I have forgotten what you all look like”, and I can’t really remember the last proper meet up we had here in the North of England. Well I can, it was Blackpool in June. Anyway, after putting the feelers out people seem to have decided that February in Liverpool would be a good idea. I therefore think we should all meet in Liverpool Lime Street station at 12pm on Saturday 22 February. The National Rail website doesn’t exactly make it clear but there appears to be a pub so I guess we congregate in there initially.
If there is anyone from Liverpool who could actually show us around and that kind of thing then please come forward as I know very very little about the place! If anyone has any further comments or suggestions then feel free to leave a comment below this article. And invite newbies along as we don’t want our group size to dwindle – I am aiming for at least 15 people present this trip.

@johnccc as this is now five days away, I should probably confirm the plans. Is there a coffee shop or cafe or pub in lime street station we could meet at?

@kneehigh85 I am totally gutted to say that I can't make it this weekend : ( A couple of things have come up that mean I can't go . The best place for you all to meet is out side of Boots located inside the station , you'll be able to see everyone getting off the trains there . I hope to make it to the next meet up !!!

@lostlittlekid - we're always in Manchester! I am going to be there on Saturday 2 March for 2 reasons - it is the last day of the Lomo store and there is a protest against the EDL in town. Feel free to come and meet us!

Hey @spudhead1uk I am trying to figure out if we should continue to Liverpool as planned (maybe just in one car though so we can all chip for petrol). There is me, you, Adam and Lou coming from here. Also @marthasmarvels and @pigdog are coming but obviously as they are Yorkshire based then they could do somthing local. Then there is @petecarr and @mike-brits who are both in liverpool so it would be nice to meet them if they are deffo planning to come with. Also I haven't had a reply from @jennysparkle (get your arse in gear lady!) to see if her and her fella are coming too. Can anyone help me formulate a plan ASAP!

Right gang for reasons relating to group size we are not Liverpool-ing tomorrow sadly. This will be put off to a date in april or something so watch this space. For the Yorkshire based folk we are going to Hawarth. Plan is to meet at 12 for lunch and a get to know type deal then a photo walk probably encompassing some pubs. I agree with kneehigh85 ...there WILL be a liverpool meet up...(yes im voiceing my opinion ..lol).....probably on a weekend....even better if there are any events taking place in april or may..all the more photography fun.....opinions and suggestions welcome and wanted...and Plenty of notice will be given hopefully ,about meet up dates.....
