Learn Something New This Year With Lomography Workshops and Events ended 4 months ago

We are starting January 2013 off right and want to invite all our analogue friends to come down to Lomography Gallery Store LA for a month of great workshops. Whether you'd like to learn a specific camera technique or are interested in finding out just what the hell is Lomography, we have a workshop to suit!

Saturday, January 5th @1-3pm – LC-A+ Lovers It’s a new year, so why not take the opportunity to learn something new? Start with the LC-A+, the camera that started it all! This pocket sized photo phenomenon will convert you to an adorer of analogue for life!

Saturday, January 12th @1-3pm – Analog Awakening: An introduction to Lomography; the story and the
cameras, through the eyes of two of our favorites: LC-A+, and Diana F+. Learn the fundamentals of photography while swimming through two decades of Lomographic Society International!

Saturday, January 19th @ 1-3pm – Double Trouble with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: New Year’s got you in the mood to turn over a new leaf, and let off some steam from the previous year? Let those feelings fly in our Diana F+ workshop! We will be shooting double exposure portraits with our Diana F+ – you pick the side of yourself you want to show. Happy photos layered over your crankiest expressions? Why not? Bring a friend to practice shooting with!

Saturday, January 26th @ 5-7 pm—New Year’s Babies: New year, new way to shoot! Come test our newest film medium with our Diana Baby and Fisheye Baby! For all Lomography lovers, including newborns in the film photography world.

  • Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless noted. Admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera. All participants will receive a 10% off coupon for the store! Come into the shop, call, or email us at shopla@lomography.com to hold your place!
