Long Nights and Long Exposures ended about 2 years ago

With the sun hiding away for the winter, let’s take advantage of these shorter days and whip out our cable releases for some long exposures. Lomography Chicago's workshop will be all about how to take a photo at night, and get some of the coolest effects that only analogue photography can bring!

Those long Summer days have been traded in for long Fall nights. There’s less daylight time but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun with your cameras! Learn how to take advantage of the B or Bulb setting on your camera and give that cable release of yours a whirl.

Have you ever wondered how to get light streaks at night? How to take a photo at night without it looking shaky and blurry? Bring your favorite camera with a cable release socket and let’s try some long night time exposures! If you’re interested in learning about night time photography but don’t have a camera with a cable release socket, don’t worry, we’ll have some loaners!
