WHAT: Lomokino MUBI Launch Party x Screening at LGS Singapore

Remember the seminal Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives?

It created quite the stir back in 2010, and its Palme D’Or Winning director Apichatpong Weerasethakul is set to make waves with a special collaborative project with Lomography and MUBI this time – and we’re screening it! Ashes, a 20-minute movie filmed with the Lomokino had premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and you’ll be getting a first glimpse of it here.

To top it off, we’re launching a new Lomokino clone to celebrate this cinematic collaboration – the Lomokino Mubi Edition!

We’ll be bringing the glamour of Cannes to the store, be sure to be dressed for it – think black-tie– and we’ll throw in the bubbly!
