Miami better get ready because Lomography is coming to town. We're sending one of our crew to do some scouting and projects in Miami for a few days. So we figured why not catch up with our Miami branch of the Lomographamily. Let's play!
Hello Lomographamily en Miami! We wanted to let you know, we’re sending a Lomography secret agent to hang out with you. That’s right, the first week of April brings the heat of spring and the saturation of color. Lomography is sending a representative to Miami to make friends and snap some shutters. We searched for a colorful spot to meetup, and there was no shortage of areas. We decided that a relaxed stroll through the Wynwood Arts District would suit everyone just fine.
So, we’ll meet at 5:30 PM in front of Panther Coffee on the corner of NW 2nd Ave. and NW24th St. Once we’ve gathered, exchanged names, and earned cool points with each other, we’ll head out for the Wynwood Walls. We’ve seen a glimps of this space and can’t wait to take it all in with a Sprocket Rocket or maybe a Spinner 360.
After the Wynwood Walls, we’ll walk around the Arts District and discover what new urban art has popped up. Our man Cameron will have some loaner Lomography cameras and film, so you can test out a few of our newer beauties. We can’t wait to meet you, geek out, and share ideas. You Miami folks are about to get a cattle prode-sized jolt to your inspirado. Let’s do this!

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 1 Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!
LomoGuru of the Week: micky_s For him, film photography should be enjoyed in the same manner one savors a fancy chocolate bar. Let's all welcome Poland-based visual artist Charlie Dance, or micky_s in the Community, our LomoGuru of the Week!
We speak in photos and know no boundaries. In our mission to snapshot every corner of the world, there is a good chance that you will find a local version of this site! No matter where on earth you are, we’re sure that Lomography is either just around the corner or will be there very soon! Don't believe us?
