Series of Lomo pictures I've taken in L.A last summer for a special exhibition that will take place at the famous restaurant Le Christine in Paris from October 23rd to December 15th. The Launch will be on Sunday, October 23rd between 3 to 6 pm.
‘L.A pas mal du tout ’ in the name of the exhibition, is a play on words meaning ’She is (L.A) not bad at all’ in French. It also refers to the picture of Marilyn Monroe that illustrates the event.
12 pictures will come along with a soundtrack specially composed for the occasion.
Marilyn Monroe is a Hollywood icon, but most generally, she symbolizes the glamour of this wild country and all its paradoxes, exuberances and what I call the ‘too muchness’. She, and street art walls, were my guidelines through this wonderful experimental shooting journey.
I took some shots of the road to Las Vegas as well as lots of portraits and landscapes.
In front of ‘classical’ pictures, I played a lot with double and triple exposition in order to reach my deep ‘Graal’
capturing pieces of my subconscious.
All kind of print format on dibond: 60×125, 40×60, 50×120, 60×90, 70×145
Feel free to post any comment, support or criticism.
