Long Lost Love: A Time Capsule Project @ Lomography Gallery Stores London ended over 3 years ago

Ever feel like you want to bottle up everything you love? Now is your chance to do it! We’re inviting you to join us in this year-long project and use whatever analogue camera you have to shoot ALL the things you love – people, places, things and encapsulate them in a film canister!

This isn’t a capsule buried underground but precious memories and events trapped in film. Shoot like a maniac all month and bring the roll in to one of our stores in London and we’ll safeguard it for exactly one year!

Shoot love!

On February 2012, you’ll get to finally see all the lovely things you’ve shot and get a chance to have your favourite photo up in a special exhibit in store along with all the other participants of this project. All we ask is that you include a self-portrait of yourself in the roll and leave us a quote. No other special requirements -choose any film type, film format, camera… as long as it’s yours and you capture the things you love.

Deadline for entries is on 28th February 2011 and can be dropped off in our Central or East London stores. Minimal fee of £5 is required for the developing, printing & scanning of your roll. The rest is on us.

I'm very tempted to do this, but next year I'll be moving even further away from London, I'll have to send my mum! :P

That's sweet. Wish some place in the US would do this.
