The Lomography Embassy Store Budapest is ready to welcome and host you dear lomographers! For two months we - the Lomography Embassy Hungary - have put all our effort into this store to create an analogue & creative space inmist of Budapest.

The Store
The Lomography Embassy Store is loacted in a ruinpub called ‘Fogashaz’, in downtown Budapest where you can find numerous pubs, cafés, restaurants and clubs. The ~30m² are designed in contrast to the historic buiding itself – the bright space includes a LomoWall, a lounge area for having a coffee and reading through Lomography books and a scanner service. With a pub right next door and a gallery space you can expect lots of parties, workshops and exhibitions to come up!

The Opening
We officially invite you to join the opening on Saturday, 11th of December. After an introduction for press at 4.30pm the doors are opened for the public at 6pm and with this also the first Lomography exhibition. We will show “accident on purpose” – the lomographic work from famous Hungarian photographers – accompanied by Vázsonyi János on the saxophone and DJ Bem on the turntables.
The pub will host the opening party starting at 8pm with music from DJ Keyser. As a special, we will mount Lomography cameras to the bar, to reduce your waiting time for your drinks and to get some amazing shots!

The LomoWall
Thanks to your help, we could print 4.500 pictures to form a 5.2m long and 4.6m high LomoWall. After two days of creative and construction work, we finally could mount it in its full beauty and where totally overwhelmed.
