The Lomography Gallery Store LA started its first week with a slew of workshops. Here is a recap of the fun, with picture galleries to boot!
Week one for Lomography in Hollywood was exciting and action-packed. First was the unforgettable opening party which saw 500+ people come through and welcome Lomography to LA.
Then we packed the first week with workshops to help LA Lomographers get a running start on their analogue adventures.
After an Introduction to Lomography workshop held on February 19th, the next logical step was to Meet the Lomo LC-A+ on February 20th. Check out the photos from the first shooting adventure in Lomography’s new West Hollywood ’hood, headed west on Santa Monica Blvd.
3 days later came the Analogue Love workshop. This workshop was a mother-load of information on all things related to analogue photography, including pinhole, multiple-exposure, cross-processing, vignetting, continuous panorama, and even light painting! We had a spirited group for the workshop, and they joined us for a nice long walk south-east to Fairfax.
Last but not least came the Diana Dialogues workshop, the first presented by LGS LA employee Lindsay, and boy did this rookie make a great debut. Check out the photos below!
Stay tuned for more workshops coming soon!
And don’t miss the Oscar party on March 7th, featuring a Multi-lens Mini-movie workshop, and a group attempt at sequel to the Lomo Matrix… The Diana F+ Colorsplash Matrix!
