The Lomo Embassy Manila and Lomomanila gave two separate talks on Lomography 101 last February 16, 2010 during the De La Salle University's alternative program day.
We were invited to give a talk on Lomography 101 during De La University’s alternative program day. I gave the talk together with fellow Lomomanila member Patty Lagera and Alex Rodriguez from Lomo Embassy Manila. I gave the usual introductions, history of lomography, definition, lomographic techniques and 10 golden rules. Patty gave some testimonials including how she discovered lomography and her favorite lomo cams and film.
She also showed her online portfolio of lomo shots. Alex talked about the different lomo cameras and gave recommendations for the newbies. She briefly explained what the lomo embassy does. She gave out brochures and pins from LSI. It was perhaps our longest talk for newbies ever, since we had two sessions (for two different groups) which included hands-on tutorials.
