Scotland loves Lomography ended over 5 years ago

Uniting the Lomo lovers of Scotland for cups of tea, beers and brash shooting.

Diana, Holga or whatever your plastic puppy may be, we want to unite people in Scotland for a Lomography meet up.

Myself and my friend Matt moved to Aberdeen recently for jobs as photographers. Yet in spare time we love to play around with our Holga’s.

Now we are looking for like minded Lomographers to meet up. Open to all suggestions, whether it’s just a chat over the net and swapping pics and suggestions… or meeting for a beer, going to a gig or some kind of event and shooting from the hip.

I’ve done this in London before and got a group of about 10 strangers together. We met once every couple of weeks. Stuff we did included: going for beers, sprint shooting (literally going for run and snapping random stuff on way), going to gigs, having little parties at flats etc…. all done with a Holga/Diana etc hanging from your side.

Let us know if you’re up for it.

Oh noes! Although I grew up in Aberdeen I now live in Edinburgh, what a shame :(

Actually, I won't be able to participate but I am going to live in Glasgow for a long time and I would like to have new lomo-friends in Scotland!! Let's create a moving group in Scotland! What do you think? We could meet each time in a different spot...Scotland is so gorgeous...we could shot magnificent photos and develop wonderful collaborations too!!

i would be so up for this but i live just outside glasgow so aberdeen is a bit far away for me, but the whole meeting up and going to gigs and stuff sounds like a really good idea
