Lomography Photocross: Moscow – Saint-Petersburg ended 6 months ago

Summer is coming to a close, ladies and gentlemen!

And while the sun’s tender rays still find their way into our viewfinders, it’s just the right time to carry out a photo competition.

On the 29th of August lomographers in Saint Petersburg and Moscow will gather in the appointed place, where they will get envelopes with tasks. They will have 4 hours to do it right. And let the hunt for the vanishing summer sun begin! The one, who will melt the ice of our strict judges’ hearts, will win.

Of course, the real goal of this event won’t be taking the prizes, but taking as many great, memorable shots as possible. And just the fact that lomographers in two cities, separated by hundreds of kilometers will be dealing with the same task is amazing. It’s the unpredictability that makes the game so exciting.

• Participants will be taking pictures on various themes during four hours.
• The best (but not the fastest) wins.
• Single photographers or teams of up to 3 people are allowed to participate. Any lomographic camera can be used.
• All the photo material produced during lomocross can be used by the organizers for promotion and development purposes at any time after the competition.

RULES

• Each team will get their task list at the start of the competition at 2 pm in:
  Saint-Petersburg: A2 club, Razjezzhaya, 12
  Moscow: Squat Cafe – Kuznetskij Most, ul. Rozhdestvenka, 12
• Each team can use one empty 35 mm film or three empty 120 mm rolls.
• Tasks can be completed in any order.
• Participants should complete all the tasks from the list and finish before a given time.
• Finish will be from 5:30 pm till 6 pm in:
  Saint-Petersburg: photolab “Fotoproekt”, Bankovsky per., 4.
  Moscow: Squat Cafe – м. Kuznetskij Most, ул. Rozhdestvenka, 12/1
• The results will be announced in 10 days after the competition.

There will be one winner for each task. The main theme of the photocross is, of course, the Lomo LCA anniversary.
