25th Lomo LC-A Birthday Party in Los Angeles featuring Open Bar and FlashMobFun

The LC-A’s 25th Anniversary rages on with a one-of-a-kind event in the city of angels! Come celebrate the birthday of the greatest snap-shot camera of all time, in this 2 part event! Here is the description, as posted by organizer and avid lomographer, Mike Kramer:
“Saturday, August 8th:
Part 1 – 8:00pm-ish – The Hollywood Paparazzi Flashmob
Part 2 – 9:00pm sharp – The Lomo Social w/ open bar in The Highlands nightclub
‘The Flashmob’ will involve all attendees acting as if they were part of a paparazzi mob to confuse and entertain people in the area of our gathering who have no idea that our seemingly spontaneous behavior is part of a collaborative effort in the spirit of ‘Improve Everywhere’ (details are provided to those who rsvp to the event). This will also allow all lomographers in attendance to get some great pictures and go wild with their analog friends they have brought along (such as the camera-of-the-hour, the LC-A!).
Following ‘The Flashmob’ portion of the night’s festivities is the Lomo-Social with Open Bar! Attendees ages 21 and up are asked to make the short walk to the upstairs portion of the outside mall next to the flashmob location, where they will be given free entry into The Highlands, a large and wonderful upscale nightclub great for dancing, celebrating, and capturing some great images! The club will be providing LC-A birthday revelers with free drinks for the first hour of the event, as well as a private patio for the group to gather and socialize in with dj’s performing all night just for the patio area (full-access to the rest of the venue is permitted throughout the night).
While attendance to this event is free for all, a guestlist reservation will be required. To get on the guestlist, and to receive specific instruction on the flashmob, please submit your RSVP by emailing your First Name, Last Name, and how many people you will have with you (bring as many as you like!) to:
Upon submitting your RSVP, you will be mailed a confirmation of your reservation, as well as instructions for the flashmob! So please, come celebrate the LC-A’s birthday in Los Angeles, and receive VIP treatment while making new lomo-friends as a result! We hope to recieve your RSVP soon!
