Aftermath: LC-A 25th Anniversary Party in the Philippines!

When I first decided to send in a proposal to host the LC-A party for the Philippine leg, I never imagined the turn-out would be so huge (my last count was 120!). The party was set on the 13th of June to coincide with Philippine Independence day giving us even more things to celebrate (plus to beat everyone to the punch and have the first of the 25 global parties)! :)
Lomographers from Manila, mainly known as lomomanila, made the 6hour journey up to Baguio (north of the Philippines and my home town) for a weekend getaway for partying, cake-eating, drinks and fun!
It was awesome – meeting new friends and shooting like maniacs! There was henna tattoo booth, more freebies than one could handle, special giveaways for those that came with their LC-A’s, raffle prizes, cake and confetti, vodka shots from film canisters, free-flowing drinks and enough food to feed, well… everyone! We had our own version of a graffiti wall where everyone brought photos, mostly self portraits with their LC-A’s and doodled, sketched, drew.
