There were more than 200 people at the Lomography Gallery Shop Seoul to felicitate the LC-A 25th anniversary including journalists, Lomographers & even a young lucky girl, KIM Na-Young, born exactly on June 19th in 1984.
We shared the celebration time for her & the LC-A+ and had a cake in the shape of an LC-A! KIM said that she had never seen a party like this for her birthday before. She was super happy!
To set the party mood, the independent Korean rock band “Freemarket” was invited! In front of the fabulous Lomowall & the BBC documentary about Lomography, they played and sang passionately. Most of the people danced & screamed – Rock’n’Roll!! The store was crowded to its limits but the Lomographers kept on coming!
After this hot performance, we had a special Korean event. We were looking for the ‘10 oldest Korean Lomographers!’ to appreciate those Pioneer-Lomographers who might be the main reason that the LC-A+ could succeed during the last 25 years.
The very oldest Lomographer who came at the party was KIM Hyo-Jin who had purchased his LC-A on March 19th 2000 – Almost 10 years ago! As a special surprise the LC-A+ 25th anniversary limited edition was given to him.
