Photos from June 11th NYC Lubitel Lovers Workshop
written by ouroborosx on June 22nd, 2009 , 14 submissions , 8 comments (7 votes)

We recently held another Lubitel Lovers workshop at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC, and we saw another group of love-stricken Lomographers fall madly and hopelessly for the Lubitel 166+. But can you blame them? With its fully manual controls, 35mm or 120 film formats, and top-down viewfinder to compose and capture images with ease, there is no more intimate way to shoot.

See the photos for yourself of the blossoming love affairs that began that faithful day. Or check out the Lubitel+ for yourself and get ready to be smitten!

Those of you who were at the workshop, please upload your photos to this post!

Oh, how I'd like to be part of such workshops.... but nothing here in Nice... :(((((
And I agree with stouf, the 1st shot has something special: a charming girl with her camera in front of some soldiers/policemen (?)... that's the peacefull power of Lomography!!!! Spread Lomolove, not war!!!! :)))))))

Ok, what was the film used for the LCA shots? CT precisa? Cuz those colors are out of this world! I agree with lowonlight, the workshop made me want a Lubitel so bad....

i believe they were original ct precisa (or revue film, which is ct precisa repackaged)... :)
