Surprise surprise! The Viennese Headquarter is queuing up with all the other Lomography Gallery and Embassy Stores worldwide – from Tokyo via Barcelona and Paris to New York – and will throw a Birthday Party in favour of our beloved Lomo LC-A! Name-giving and inspiring for a whole community of analogue photographers, this camera turned our point of view of life upside down. Just like we want to turn Vienna – the symbolic birthplace of the whole lomographic philosophy – upside down for one night!

On Friday, June 19, it’s not just the birthday candles that will be burning at Disco Anaconda! Be ready for a flurry of coloured flashbulbs, free Vodka while stocks last, LC-A cake munching, live music and DJs! Spread the message and bring all your soon-to-be-analogue-lovers-friends!

25 Jahre Lomo LC-A – eine Kultkamera feiert in Wien

Die legendäre Lomo LC-A wird 25! Ihr zu Ehren schmeißt die Lomographische Gesellschaft am Freitag, den 19.06.2009 – exakt 25 Jahre nach ihrer Geburtsstunde – eine wilde Party. Genauso wie diese Kamera unsere Sicht auf die Welt auf den Kopf gestellt hat, werden wir Wien für eine Nacht auf den Kopf stellen und uns in eine schier endlose Reihe von Lomo LC-A Geburtstagspartys rund um den ganzen Globus – von Tokyo über Amsterdam nach Santiago de Chile – einreihen.

Gefeiert wird ab 21 Uhr in der Disco Anaconda (Mariahilferstraße 219, 1150 Wien). Wir sind für den Wodka (gratis, solange der Vorrat reicht), den Kuchen (detto) und Musik zuständig, ihr seid beauftragt das Anaconda brechend voll zu bekommen. Verbreitet die frohe Kunde also weiter und bringt alle feierfreudigen Menschen mit. Eintritt frei!
