After opening Lomography Gallery Stores in Tokyo, Paris, Beijing, Seoul and New York, Lomography wants to continue this story of success by endowing the megacity of Shanghai with a Lomography Gallery Store!

The biggest Lomography Gallery Store in China will be located in an old Shanghai style building right at the Huaihai shopping district. Encompassing 6 floors, the Lomography Gallery Store Shanghai will offer the complete range of Lomographic products as well as some brand new special limited edition cameras.

The Lomography Gallery Store Shanghai will feature the largest LomoWall in China, comprised of thousands of handpicked and hand mounted lomography photos. These lomographs were collected through an online submission call to Lomographers around the world to show us Shanghai through their eyes and lenses.

The Lomography Gallery Store Shanghai will serve as a destination point for weekly Lomography workshops leading the Lomographic community into the secrets of analogue photographic techniques.
Guest speakers will share their tips and tricks, and Lomo Journeys will be organized where guests can check out loaner cameras to experience the fun of Lomography first hand.

The store will also serve as a gallery and meeting point, featuring events, parties, and exhibitions, including a stop by the Diana World Tour in August 2009 where hundreds of classic Diana cameras from the 60s & 70s will be on display in China for the first time.

The Lomographic Society heartily invites you to join the enormous crowd of curious Lomographers at the big opening party on Saturday 20th June 2009.
