On Saturday, we held a workshop at the Lomography Gallery Store in New York called Diana Dialogues, where we learned all about the cult camera, from its birth at the Great Wall Plastics Factory, to its rebirth as the analogue sensation that the world is buzzing about. We had 30 lovely guests for the workshop, who all showed up with wide-eyes and armed with questions. After about 90 minutes of chatting, we hit the streets with loaner DianaF+ cameras, and a free roll of film for all who attended, shooting the bustling Greenwich Village neighborhood that we now call home.

February 14th 1pm – 3pm: “Doubles” Workshop – Learn how to create double-exposures that make the opposite sex swoon. Swap film (and maybe your phone number) with a date or new acquaintance. $10 admission includes a loaner camera and a free roll of film.
February 18th 7pm – 9pm: Introduction to Lomography – This comprehensive workshop is the best introduction anyone will ever need to Lomography, from its early days in Vienna to its growth into an International community of snapshot artists. We’ll cover all the bases so you are ready to dive in and join the analogue fun! This workshop is FREE!
February 28th 1pm – 3pm: LC-A+ Workshop – We’ll cover the history, evolution, and revolution of the little Soviet camera that changed the world – the mighty LC-A and its rebirth as the LC-A+. This workshop is the best way to kick off the 25th anniversary year of the LC-A! $10 includes a loaner camera a free roll of film.
March 7th 1pm – 3pm: International Women’s Day Workshop – We’ll focus on taking stellar portraits with a wide range of Lomographic cameras, and shoot pictures of the amazing women in our lives. Free admission for women… $10 for dudes (unless you bring your mom, sister, wife, or girlfriend along). Includes a loaner camera and a free roll of film.
