Last night in New York City, Lomography arrived in style.
We threw a party to celebrate the grand opening of the biggest Lomography Gallery Store on the planet, the newest home base for the International Lomographic community right here in the Big Apple, and not to toot our own horn too much – well, actually we’re going to toot away – but the party can only be described as legendary!
From the completion of what we call “the tower” – which is a 3-story stairway surrounded by lomographs in all directions, along with our wall to wall ocean of photos comprising the most spectacular LomoWall installation North America has ever seen – to the endless flow of Austrian beer and delicious foods – to the brilliant performance from Hawk and A Hacksaw… this party was by far the place to be in Manhattan last night. 20 minutes after we opened, there was a line down to the end of our block of people waiting to get in. It ended up being a star-studded event to say the least (but more on that later on – we’re just going to tease you for now – sorry).
Over the next couple of days, we’re going to sort through all the photos and videos so we can share them with you as quickly as possible. Here is the first batch, but there are MANY MANY more to come!

Love how the lomowall just kind of wraps itself throughout the store...especially in the stairway area.
