Diana Takes Diana+ to Egypt... an Interview and Gallery Recently I was contacted by Diana Mulvihill, a photography student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Diana was on her way to Egypt to do some work for a non-profit organization that helps children (and also wishes to remain anonymous for the purpose of this interview). Diana is trained as a documentary photographer and has worked for over a decade as a photojournalist. She had heard about her camera namesake, but had never shot with one. We thought it would be neat to see how the "Diana+":http://www.lomography.com/diana would hold up on a real photojournalism assignment, and hoped to capture some of the beauty and magic of this incredible destination. My Trip to Vienna: An Instax Travel Diary I recently took a trip to Vienna to visit my friends at the Lomography office. I decided to take along the trusty "Instax Cheki 55i":http://www.lomography.com/instant/cameras/cheki55 camera and keep a journal of my trip. The credit card-sized photos are perfectly portable, and each memory is instantly captured and shared in real-time. Each photo has space for a description, and now the pictures can tell a complete story.
Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes shoots with a Horizon Being the super-geek that I am, and not being able to attend the incredible "Comic Con":http://www.comic-con.org/ in San Diego, I was living vicariously through the flickr community, checking out photos of Joker-wannabees and scantily-clad femme-fetales, when I stumbled upon some photos of "Milo Ventimiglia":http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0893257/ from the sometimes awesome TV show "Heroes":http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/ at the 2007 Comic Con snapping away with a "Horizon":http://shop.lomography.com/horizon/.

ackkk i wish i could go! i've had tickets to see jurassic park in sherman oaks for a month :( hopefully there will be more frequent lomo meetups in LA because that'd be awesomeeeee!

and sorry to hear you can't make it panickedandroid (and you too brendend). but don't worry, we're going to be discussing ideas for monthly socials/events around LA. next time we're more then likely going to be holding something on the weekend so we hope you can make it then!
