This year's second London Lomography Thursday event organized by the Lomography London Ambassadors Linda and Karen (with special assistant of Lomography Newcastle Ambassador Helen) stands fully in respectable honour of the princess of plastic: The Diana+ lives up to its name creating dreamy, nearly royal images, while dodging all arrogance. Just like its eponym, the Princess of Wales, she sets her allures in beauty and splendour. Such extraordinary grandeur calls for the finest company!
The Hon Diana F+ and Sir Fisheye – A truly royal combination!

Welcome to a personal soiree with the newlyweds:
While refined behaviour is executed by participants, first introductions to the life and wonders of the Diana+/F+ and its accompaniments will be made, revealing basics of handling and new, unheard of tricks. After intense Miss Manners and the hidden rules of Lomographic Rejoice, a gallant city-tour will serve as a feast for the eyes. Witness the first public overseas outing of THE honeymoon couple: Hon Diana F+ and Sir Fisheye in the romantic and alluring city of London – with a return ticket to oblivion! Night-shy image takers are objectionable.
Please follow the instructions closely – breathe deeply and hold for 23 seconds, stand on one leg, exhale and scream the words PLASTIC PASSION!!, relax, count to 5, then consider very carefully which side of the bed you wish to step out of… Because guess what!! It’s going to be a LONDON LOMOGRAPHY THURSDAY. Congratulations my friend! You have now entered the fishana zone of being. You have set your feet and your inner vibes alight and on the path to plastic and a 180-degree field of open field viewing.
Good looks and royal manners. INNIT JUST!
We will be expecting guests of fine and royal manner with a kiss on gloved hands. Adorned and bejewelled with carefully selected timeless classic props worn only by the discerning Lomographer: The Tiara, The Beard, The Cape and others high flyers in this tiptop super spiffed royal stable of props. The gathering will be intimate, flirtatious, a wobble of heels, a tip of a hat; you will stroke the glass, marvel at the curves, learn the mysterious ways of 120 roll film with lingering looks across a crowded room filling you with the urge to dash into the nights air, your head filled with fresh knowledge, to venture on a sole sharing walk in the soft evening breeze, to sit and make out the best Diana image combinations humanly possible.
Boys and girls of good ways will accompany the assembly with appropriate tools. Last minute purchases at the event are possible with a 10% discount on the Diana F+. As always, good looks are rewarded; the most royal images taken will be in for a win of grand Diana F+ add-ons. The fine selection of images made will be presented in the glorious halls of the Lomography Blog.
Rumour has it that the monthly Lomography play-dates are ahead of themselves. This weeks London Lomography Thursday is almost booked out! But participation is still possible (and requested!) for the evening city tour. Join us at 7.30 pm in front of the Photographers’ Gallery. Stay on the look out for monthly spine-tingling workshops for London Lomographers (The next London Lomography Thursday will go down at the Photographers’ Gallery on June 5, 2008!) Upon decent requests, the Diana workshop will be repeated.
