Lomography Rumble: Celebrate the Premiere of Tracks ended 3 months ago

Calling all Canadian Lomographers - Have you traveled somewhere amazing? Backpacked spontaneously?Just had a blast somewhere new? We want to see!

Mongrel Media’s new film, “Tracks,” is an inspiring story about a young woman who embarks on a journey that changes her life. Based on Robyn Davidson’s journey through the Australian Outback, “Tracks” has already seen great success at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

Based on a true story, Mongrel Media’s new film is captivating to say the least. Robyn Davidson’s story is amazing and traveling is what changed her life. SO for this competition, share with us where you have been and what has inspired you; we are all on a journey, and we want to see yours at Lomography.

Robyn Davidson, as portrayed by Mia Wosikowska, leaves her home in the city and embarks on an amazing 2,000 mile journey through the Australian outback. With only her dog and four unruly camels, Robyn meets unimaginable perils and overcomes monumental obstacles that she had never even dreamed of. Meeting National Geographic photographer Rick Smolan, played by Adam Driver along the way, Robyn defies all odds in continuing her journey. With the help of friendly strangers, the advice of wise travelers, and an unpredictable landscape, Robyn’s life is changed forever.

Help us celebrate the premiere by submitting your best traveling Lomographs! We want to see the craziest places you’ve been, the inspiring people you’ve met, and the most interesting things you’ve learned about yourself.
