Bowl of Film Soup Rumble ended 5 months ago

EBS, redscale, cross processing - if you've already done these experiments with your film rolls, why don't you put your game a notch and try dipping them in your personalized film soup?

We all have our own favorite film that always gives us that desirable blend of color and saturation. But sometimes, cross processing, redscaling or exposing both sides of these films cannot seem to render that funky effects we want.

Being the experimental and wild analogue shooters that we are, we go to the ends just to achieve what we want, going as drastic as destroying our own precious rolls. But not as much as tearing it up into tiny bits and pieces. That’ll be way too silly! I’m talking about film soups! Acidifying, bleaching, marinading – all have been done by those who are brave enough to face the unknown ends of experimenting too much. And in this rumble, we are giving the spotlight to these Lomographers and their precious little work!

What’s your favorite beverage to battle the scorching heat? Do you have a go-to cleaning agent that always leave your stained tiles spotless? Do you prefer coffee over tea? Well, why don’t we mix these all up to create a film soup! Dip your film rolls and show us the funky result!

Details:

  • 5 winners of 10 piggies each
  • Maximum of five submissions per user
  • Don’t forget to tag your photos (film, cameras, accessories, and at least three tags). Photos without these tags will not be accepted.
  • Submissions must be taken using an analogue camera. Please keep in mind our theme.
  • Rumble will run for a week.

Ready your bowls. Mix those beverages, detergents, and other crazy liquids for your film soup. Don’t forget to submit the Lomographs from these concoctions to us!
